Yesterday was a beautiful day in New York City for a wedding. I finally had my first wedding that was completely in the city and had lots of amazing help from Lindsey Thorne! Please look at her website, her work is absolutely stunning and I’m excited about the weddings we are shooting together this year.
I wanted to get a little preview up for Lesley and Perry before they jet off to Europe for their honeymoon. These two are so much fun, so easy to work with and I feel like I gained a couple of new friends from planning their wedding with them. They got ready at the NoMad Hotel in the newly named “NoMad” neighborhood (north of Madison Square Park), we did the cutest first look and some shots in the Flatiron and cabbed it over to 91 Horatio in the West Village for a beautiful ceremony, delicious lunch and some very funny toasts. After the afternoon party a bunch of us took the subway back to Brooklyn, traveling with a wedding party on the subway is a lot of fun! For all of their friends they had a big party and reception at The Drink in Williamsburg, which happens to be one of my favorite bars in my neighborhood. We set up a photobooth and drank punches in their honor. Totally fun day and so excited to share the rest with you in a few weeks!
