Back to back weddings in Virginia the last two weekends, both of them at awesome farm venues. It’s funny I’ve gotten so used to shooting in the city environment it takes me a minute to adjust to lots of sky and trees to use in the images.
Sara and Brad were married at the Inn at Westwood Farm in Orange, VA. It’s a lovely country drive from Richmond so that was the first plus. The Inn itself was beautiful and it felt like we were hanging out at someone’s house all day, I mean we were. They had a late afternoon ceremony in front of the barn followed by dinner and dancing. Sara let me bring the unicorn mask (yes it’s creepy and awesome) for their photobooth and it made an appearance on the dance floor for “Gangnam Style,” which is absolutely a wedding reception song that I’m prepared to hear for the next year.
A HUGE thanks to Ellen for her awesome assisting and awesome photos, a few of them are mixed in here. Excited to work together again this weekend!
Also don’t you just love her champagne colored dress? She had someone on Etsy make it for her modeled from a J. Crew dress! Clever ladies my brides are.
